After we got back home from the Moss Show in NJ last weekend , I finally
had time to go through the bag of goodies from the show.
In there was a packet of info from a place called Car Care

They cover "Washing the car, Tires, Exterior Rubber and Vinyl treatment,
Care and Feeding of Leather, Care and Feeding of Vinyl( written tongue
in cheek--"Vinyl is the carefully prepared hide of the virgin pampered
Arctic Naugas), Paint chip repair, Cleaning paint, Overspray clays,
Protecting the finish, Care and feeding of your Wheels, repairing
damaged wheels, Engine Cleaning, Care and Feeding of convertible Tops,
Car Covers, Protect your Pride and Joy on the Track and Autocross, and
my favorite, Squealing brakes or how to save Wear and Tear on your Horn.
The Vinyl section was a great read and strongly supported the reasons
why we shouldn't be using a "raw silicone product" in and on our cars.
We've had this discussion on this list earlier. What they had to say
made sense and I plan to chuck the product I had been using and try
their recommendation as a substitute. Anyone here try Lexol Vinylex
spray or Black Again?
I assure you, I don't get a bit of the action . Just passing along what
I thought was some good info on Car Care.
