Ah, my apologies for the confusion. 'Side lights' to a Brit are those that
come on with the first position of the main lighting switch, nothing to do
with side marker lights (which the UK never had). The factory Workshop
Manual shows the in-line fuses for both North American and UK cars of the
same period - car numbers 138401 - 187619 (tourer) and 139472 - 187840 (GT).
This was immediately before the 4-fuse fusebox arrived in Sept/Oct 69 for
the 1970 model year.
