What are the symptoms of a motor with an incorrect Dwell setting? I finally
got around to using my $5 Actron multitester and I don't know if it is
working correctly. Never used one before. Hooked it up, red lead to neg
coil terminal, black lead to ground. Engine warmed up prior. I got a
reading of about 20 degrees. The needle doesn't fluctuate (I expected it to
move a little). It even falls a little over a couple of seconds.
