The leg room was what made the MGB work for me!  I tried them all...TR4-6-7 
GT-6s Fiat Spiders ( forget it ), Alfas, Jags, even Vettes are to short legged. 
  Now if you want to talk head room...that's the problem.  When my Son and I 
restored our B I cut down the new seat foam on the driver's side and stretched 
out the webbing. That got me to a level top-of-the-head to 
top-of-the-windscreen-frame parity. I tend to slouch anyway and the seat is as 
far back as possible.  The legs are great.  Oh yeah, I went out and bought a 13 
Grant steering wheel.
