Even better:
On the way home from the garage, new flasher unit in my pocket, the blinkers
finally started blinking again. Of course, this is something of a labor
saving device, if I don't have to actually *install* new parts.

My computer has been playing up lately, needing more and more switch-off's
and switch-on's before it would start booting. Just before I called in 'the
expert' I though I'd apply a bit of MG technique - open it up and unplug and
replug every connector I could find. The result is that the four times I
have booted it up since it has done so first time every time.
