Star Trek Tech Warning!!!!!
There used to be a fairly popular acronym on the net: "YATI."
It stood for "Yet Another Trechnical Inconsistency." :)
Sounds like a sex manual written by an imaginative 12 year old male
virgin. :)

I once chanced on a paperback about "Dirty Harry," the character
played by Clint Eastwood in the movies. Turned out it was a contract
book, one of a series, written long after the films were complete.
The guy could write fairly well and I enjoyed the series, so I
collected the whole lot. This ended abruptly when the last one I
bought had Harry sending $5 to a gun-control lobby and then a few
pages later had a criminal using a "semi-automatic 12 gauge
rifle." ;)
I ditched the books. Freedom of speech includes the right to
promulgate misinformation, error, nonsense and made-up "facts," . .
. . but not on *my* bookshelf. ;)
