Anyone interested in soundproofing material? Designed a made by a car nut.
It is 3/8ths polyethylene cross-linked closed-cell with aluminium foil on
one side. This side is studded so there is an air passage between the
stuff and the surface to which it attaches by glue (Elmer's, 3M, LePage
etc) This prevents moisture being trapped against your metal - Neat
eh? It is waterproof, and impervious to oil, gas, petrol, even battery
acid has a hard time eating it.
Price including postage for North America (big package!!) is US$80 for two
sheets each 4 foot by 6 foot (48 square feet).
Please respond off list
