Depending on how long the ramps are, and how modified (low) the car is,
the car may not go on without strategically located 2X4s here and there.
My race car will not fit on my trailer without 2X4 assistance and it
does have the dovetail you mention. Neither will my MGA street car
because the exhaust is hanging too low.
By the way is dovetail the right term? I was thinking that is the
sloped rear section *with a cutout* in the center at the end. Hard to
explain but I guess it looks like the tail of a dove?
Is the sloped *solid* rear section called a beaver tail?
Not being picky, just ignorant.
