The differences in the floor panels is how hey match up against the tunnel.
I'm not sure how the later ones can be modified to fit.

If you are not going concours it would not be a problem.  Try this:

The floor panels come with a lip.  The proper way to install the panels is
remove the old ones, lip included, and then weld new one in place.  If the
rust is not near the edges, or there is only a limited amount of rust there,
try this:  Cut the old panels out, put leave the lips they are resting on.
Remove the lips of the new pan (or even sheet metal) and weld them in.
Remember, two of the mounting nuts for the seats are under the crossmember and
must be installed before welding in place.
