"D" style Overdrive

        I am currently re-building two "D" style three synchro overdrive
gearboxes. I have one done with new layshaft and layshaft bearings and
synchro rings. My question is : can Iinterchange parts from a standard
three synchro gearbox to rebuild the second box ? My standard box has some
gears that are not as worn.
