Volvo 4 Cyl Turbo in a "B"

Following along the thread of a few weeks ago about a W 1.8 liter - I was 
talking to a guy I know in a bar (so you know it must be true) the other day. 
 He swears a friend of his dropped a Volvo 4 Cylinder Turbo into a B.  

Anyone hear of anyone doing this?
