Here in the UK crinkle (or crackle, or wrinkle ) paint is available in
aerosol cans. The instructions give the ambient temp required and call for
one thin coat immediately followed by a thick coat. Did absolutely nothing
for me, and it was only repeated coats that got anything close. I did read
sometime ago that the 2nd, heavy coat needs the application of a hairdrier
to make it wrinkle.
