If it were me, unless I was gonna make a chrome bumpered "B" out of the two
cars, I think I'd rather buy another RBB, especially since they're so
inexpensive to buy compared to a comparable chrome bumpered model. MG made a
whole lot of subtle and not quite so subtle changes over those formative
years 1968-1978. One of the most obvious was the bumpers, and then,of course
the height (the RBB's sit higher than the CBBs!) And depending on the
individual cars the interior, the hood or top were all changed, also the
wheels went through various changes up to the rostyle and the alloy rims used
on the 1979 LE.. Going way back the seats were w/o headrests and the battery
and electrial was 12V positive ground and the early "B's" used a 2 battery
system vs the 12 V negative ground single battery used in the later
models.Still if you can pick it up (the 1970-71) cheap enough and you have an
understanding wife and room to store it, dude go for it!
