Your going to have an unbalanced engine. No oil will come through, but you
are going to have increased wear and tear on the bearing and seals, as well
as vibration from the engine. I would definitely take it back apart and fix
it correctly. The flywheel undergoes a lot of stress and strain from the
clutch and starter. I sure wouldn't want less than the proper assembly.

Yes..Yes.. It is true... I did both...I went to go get a tap and die...and
somehow got distracted and did neither and I put it back together without
the bolt in. I was wondering what the consequences are of just leaving it
alone since I had so much trouble getting it back together. I will take it
apart if I have to but I sure would like to leave it alone. My question is;
will oil come through into the clutch or will it just be unbalanced. Please
let me know your thoughts.

Did you forget it and it's back together now or is the hole in the crank
stripped?

What are the consequences of not putting in the fifth bolt for the flywheel
to the engine.
