I'm just getting interested in British cars after many years with Norton
motorcycles, and probably the most useful literature British bike makers
ever put out were parts catalogs that show exploded views of every single
assembly, with all the parts named and numbered. These are still in
print for many bikes and are also available on CD-ROM.
Does the reply above mean that MG and other British car makers didn't do
this? If so, how do you know what part to order? It must make restoring
much more of a pain than restoring a British motorcycle.
