Yeah Jeff. The tires COULD be the cause as Andrew Lundgren says. They COULD
be extremely under-inflated, have flat spots from sitting, have a separated
ply or tread or just be out of round. That COULD also cause a vibration,
shaking or whump-whump rocking feeling as you are rolling along at slow
speeds - OR even under hard braking. BUT, you'd probably feel THAT
"vibration" even if the brakes were NOT applied. If it "vibrates" ONLY when
the brakes are applied, as you indicated, the cause is most likely out or
round discs/drums.
