Rear resonator still looks good. What is the difference between the glass
pack and the non-glass pack? Just sound? Going back outside to enjoy the
tinkering. Be back shortly to read the reply. Thanks Kelvin.

Derek:
If it is a Monza exhaust, I believe it is the stock 1 3/4 diameter
pipe. I would definitely measure to be sure. The Monza originally
comprised of a center glass pack bullet muffler and the rear resonator assy.
with twin chrome pipes. It sounds like the center muffler has been removed,
or never installed so no wonder it's loud. If the rear resonator is in good
shape, then a glass pack in the middle will quiet it down to reasonable
levels again. In days of yore, I used to build this type of system from
bits salvaged from the scrap yard. The rear resonators tended not to rust
as quickly as the middle mufflers.
have fun.
