I'll probably try and get mine out this evening. Any ideas on how to pull
the two pieces of the roll pin out each side. Screw a screw part way in and
pull it out?
Also does any one know a site or book that explains (simplistically) how a
differential works? Regular .vs. limited slip .vs. locking , etc.
thanks,
Phil Farmer

Hello Phil,
I am still struggling with mine. My roll pin also sheared and came out in
three pieces. It apparently chewed up the carrier casting as no amount of
banging will drive the pinion pin out. Fortunately, I have a donor car that
I am going to swap rearends with. Just need a couple of undisturbed weekends
to get the momentum going...
Has anyone else out there sheared the pinion roll pin? What did you do ? Is
this common?
