on later cars, you should hear a click from the starter relay. If no click,
try jumpiong the brown with the white and brown wire and see if it cranks. If
it does, try connecting a 12V source to the white/red wire and see what
happens. If it cranks, the starter switch is bad or there is a break in the
circuit. If it doesn't the problem is either a break between the relay and
the solenoid or the solinoid.
