(2) Charging System Woes

One more thing: In looking at the connector on the back of the alternator, 
you can put the wire connector on either way, (as in it can be put on 
backwards?).  On mine, the wires going to the connector are on the top, 
sorta facing the head, instead of on the bottom facing the ground.

Maybe this is the problem?
