Carl, other than Mk II's, which began in 1968-ish, there were no other
"official" Mark designations. Just a continuous line. I've seen people
call their '77 to '80 cars 'Mark IV's' but according to Clausager there
was no further factory designation after Mk II. I guess most shows have
Mark I, Mark II and rubber-bumper classes for MGB roadsters...
