I would do similarly. However, at my shop we buy this stuff called Pig Mat
from the New Pig Corporation. It is a fabric-like material designed to be
put under leaking machinery and soak up oil. I don't recall how expensive it
is and it's probably not realistic for the average car owner (even the
perpetually leaking LBC owner) as it comes on a 2' x 50' roll, but I sure
like it...
