Take the two bolts of the rack that hold the cover to the rack. This is right
where the steering shaft enters the rack. Then remove the cover, shims,
damper, spring and guide. I'm not sure of the capacity, but use 90 weight
gear oil. Pour a little in the hole and move the wheels back and forth.
Repeat until full. Then take the thinnest shim, remove it, and reassemble the
rack.
