I would go with anything from 1964 to 1969 to get the 5 main bearing engine.  
That is just personal preference, so don't start the "3 main is better than 5 
main" thread.  Inside that date range all the Bs are similar, but emissions 
and safety standards start creeping in after 1967 with the Mk II.
