Inaccurate Tach

I recently purchased a 59 MGA and do not trust the tach reading.  Seems to be 
showing way to few RPMs to the way it sounds to my ear.  Any suggestions on 
what to look at first?

None of the other gauges are accurate, so I shouldn't be too surprised I 
guess.
