Gang,
The Fort Collins Maaco paint shop has taken possession of a 1974 GT. The
owner brought it in for paint and related work sometime last year and never
claimed it. Maaco apparently help it for months and then took the title.
Maaco appears to be willing to sell it for recovery of their costs (around
$800).
I looked at the car, it is orange and is missing all of the trim and
bumpers. The trim around the windshield and top is still in place but
everything else was removed for painting. The interior appears to be
original (needs to be redone). The engine runs, transmission works, brakes
don't work.

If more details are needed I could take a look. Also I have a digital
camera and could take pictures to send to anyone interested.
