Evangelo: I don't have a MGB, so this is just a shot in the dark. Your car has a windscreen washer. When you activate the washer do the wipers operate as long as the washer is acitivated? On most cars they do. Disconnect the NLG wire at the wiper moter and try the washers and see what happens. Or check to see if the wire has current when you activate the washers.
