If you can find one, get a left handed drill bit and use a reversible drill.
I find that about half the time the heat from drilling will loosen the broken
remains and will actually spin the part out.

Also, there is a sparkplug rethreading kit available at any good parts store.
It's like a helicoil, and it does work.
