How have you piped fuel into the two carbs? HSs should have a Tee in the
fuel supply pipe supplying each carb independantly. You aren't trying to
supply the 2nd carb from the overflow of the first, are you? Your statement
"and so is the hose leading from the front carb" bothers me.
