I already read and printed out this info before I used the click adjuster
(actually before I ordered it).
And I probably would have loved the tool - except that I cannot use it to
do step 2 - I turn it per instructions, I hear the loud clicks, but the
adjustment screw is still not tight and I still have a significant gap. I
suppose I could tighten it myself with a screwdriver and then use the tool
to loosen the nut the required eight clicks. I tried it on three valves -
the first worked per instructions and I even verified the gap. But the next
two valves, it did not much to my dismay, and had I not checked the gap
with my trusty feeler gauge, I would have had a clearance of .025 or more,
not good.
I should mention too on the aforementioned website, I did see two errors.
On the data table, the 18G engine is listed as a 1789(?) cc, clearance of
.015. The 18V engine lists a valve clearance of .013. I thought they were
all .015 and my Haynes manual also indicates that - the .013 setting is
listed for the 18V as warm, whereas the 18G and 18V cold is .015.
