Hmm, Max, I have always push the pedal to the floor and released it ONCE
while waiting for pressure to build in my fuel pump in my '76 B (equipped
with original Z-S carb and auto-choke). I understood that this set the
auto-choke...? In doing this I have never had any carb- or fuel-related
issues with starting...
