my thoughtful THANKS to all who answered my question on the correct
procedure to start my B..
turns out that the very first answer i got was THE right one, it
told me i needed a gooooood tune up..
and, i got yesterday (by a guy who builds little lotus things that
scream)..
and, today my "correct" starting procedure (cold) is:
- hand brake on
- gear neutral, clutch out
- key on, wait for fuel pump to stop (about 5 sec)
- turn key to move some oil
- full choke
- vvvrrrrooooommmmm (1.5 - 2.5 seconds)
you might guess that if the engine is warm the procedure and time
from final key turn to exhaust music is shorter :-)
and, now that i have confidence it WILL start everytime, i have
trouble staying out of it..
