Well, had a pretty good MG day today. As mentioned previously, I had
discovered the bubbled lower rad hose while playing around with the front
suspension. It was bubbled right at the lower clamp. So, after fruitlessly
calling around to local parts stores this am, I took the drive up to
Moss-Dover and got the upper and lower hoses and clamps. Did the deed this
evening and it wasn't too bad. Even though I never did find that $%^#@
petcock on the radiator. Thank God for wet-dry vacs!! Only major pita was
tightening the lower clamp. Durned steering rack boot was majorly in the
way. But I got it done, took the shakedown cruise, everything seems to be
good, and ready for Clinton this week-end!
Now I gotta hose off the garage floor. Later!
