There have been lots of positive comments about having a sunroof in the
MGB-Gt,
however the original poster asked if "it is effective?"
Well, that depends. On those blazing hot summer days in NJ, the open
sun-roof
is really effective at giving your legs and arms a great sun tan and
scorching the vinyl
interior, to the point that you can't sit on it with shorts !!!
Is it effective at keeping you cool - no way. I have a Webastro on my car
and
it stays shut anytime the temp get above 85deg - other wise it gets way
too hot in the car.
the only semi-effective way of staying cool, is to use the quarter-lights
and get a good
breeze flowing through the interior.
