It wouldn't be the first cross-fertilisation though. I knew a guy that had a
Mercedes van that had an MG engine in it - I worked at a British car parts
place (a LONG time ago) and used to give him a hard time about his
non-Teutonic power plant - you know - "Hey, at least the Germans know a good
engine when they see it!"
I've never been sure why they did use that engine, mind you.
