Hi Guys,
I need a little help locating a quirky part. I need two
grease caps to cover the bearings on the front stub axles
of my 308. I haven't yet scoured the local auto parts
stores but I hope for success there. The outer diameter
of the cap needs to be about 1.84" and WITHOUT a raised
rib running around the cap. That is why my current, OEM
caps won't work with the new wheels. The rim doesn't clear
the wheel's hub opening. Others have machined their
wheels. I feel it will be easier to find/make/modify grease
caps.
All constructive help appreciated.
