How to prevent rusty bolts....

I got my car back from the body shop.  They replaced the valance bolts
with new ones.

I don't want them to rust and damage the paint...  If I pull the ones
they installed and replace them with stainless steel ones, will that be
good enough?  Is there something else that would work as well?
