Anybody got any idea what happens to a 23 year old starter a week after
being bolted to a new higher compression engine???
Yep, it dies. It still spins, barely. Not fast enough to engage the
flywheel. If it does, it won't turn the engine. And yes, I checked all the
connections etc and they are good and clean and tight.
Going to push start it in the AM, Drive to Britfest, get a new one off Moss
for 15% off. Now whether there will be a tech session on the show grounds or
not is yet to be decided. Depends if they want a core charge ;-)
Could be worse, it might rain.
