Rory,
I don't know about insurance in your state, but you may find that if the car was
in your name your insurance would go through the roof (oops, I mean hood!) You
might want to check this out before you conplain too loudly. We left my
daughter's car in our name until she was over 21 for this reason.
You might find it best to just drive it and enjoy!
