The time has come (again) to move up in the tyre world.
Has anyone any recommendations (preferably from personal use) of tyres
that are street-legal (even if only just) and great for circuit stuff.
Wet weather traction would be good, too.
The primary recommendation around here is for Potenzas and I have hunted
down lots of 'Net info, but I would love to hear from personal
experience. I would even like to hear of some recommendations of which
tyres NOT to choose - and for both, reasons why.
I checked up on some Hoosiers that are now available locally and apart
from a hefty price tag they look pretty darn good to me.
So, any suggestions on brand and specific product (code)?
I am getting myself some 5.5" rims made up (on standard centres) and
want to cram 205/60's on them to try to keep within track if at all
possible.
Thanks,
Eric
