Thanks to all the replied.  It seems there were indeed three different
bumper configurations for the 74 model year.

Actually, according to Clausager, here's how it works -

car # 328101 (rdstr) - start of '74 model year
car # 339095 (rdstr) - rubber bumper overriders (big 'uns)
car # 360301 (rdstr) - start of '74.5 cars - bid ol' bumpers
