axle fill plug removal

Listers,  I once had a similiar bogged out plug and removed it as follows.
I filled the hole with BJ Weld (or similiar) coated a 3/8" drive short
extension with grease and inserted it into the filled hole, holding it in
place with duct tape.  Next AM attached the ratchet to the extension and
removed plug.
