First, I'd like to thank everyone on this list for the great discussions on-
and off-topic alike. For the last several years I have been mostly lurking,
but also asking some questions and getting my 2 cents in where appropriate.
I am sad to report that I am considering selling my 1972 MGB convertible -a
new car looms that demands the garage space. Any input on what would be a
fair price to ask for this car would be of great help.
So here goes:
1972 MGB roadster, red. Paint okay (looks good from 10 feet). No rust in
the usual trouble spots, but a little surface stuff on the floor pan and
trunk (treated with that rust-eater stuff). New stainless exhaust,
hydraulics in clutch and brakes, fuel pump (Japanese one -but has never
failed me), new gas tank and carbs rebuilt by Lawrie's shop three years ago
(thanks again) runs excellent. Needs a top, but I might spring for a new
one and install it to help resale value.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. And for those of you with bandwidth
issues, you can email me directly : willp@hamdenchryslerplymouth.com
