It is a Multiple Spark Discharge model 6A. I believe it replaces your coil,
but I may be mistaken. It was used the the recient grassroots dyno tuning MGB
article. It smoothed out the power curve and increased it some. I ordered
MSD's catalog. It looks like the part goes for $287 to "GEN Trade" (vendors I
assume) and $400 list.
