I remember talking with someone on this issue a few months back in private
email.
We were discussing how to make my 18V to 67 spec. He said "Install the dual
row gear and chain".
I asked "I obviously want the vernier gear, right?"
His comment to me was essentially, "Vernier is really overkill if you are
making a road car, you'll set it once and not change it. Better to get the
gear with the offset key. Which is a heck of alot cheaper."
I havent done either, yet.
