You can get rid of the angle drive by using the longer speedo cable. I
believe it is listed for later OD cars. It has enough slack to dispense with
the angle drive. On my 66 with a 4-sync OD, it has so much extra length I
had to strap it to the frame to keep a big loop from dangling.
