Ain't it great! I worked on one here in Burlington for the EAA. Changed a jug
and bled the hydraulics, Did you know it takes over 300 turns of the handcrank
to
manually retract the landing gear. Had to do a cycle while it was up on the
jacks. What a great plane.
(Here it comes) The B-17 saved England so they could build our cars!!
