Kind of an overcooked home page, taking a long time to load. Dang! How
many web rings is that site connected to? The page is still loading as I

Then I got as far as 'Spanners' and 'Electrics', but took a while to notice
there was a scroll bar in the top FRAME before I found 'Schematics', which
then took me to the middle of an index page. Would have been a lot easier
to go here first:

Sorry for venting, but I like searching through web pages and frames about
as much as I like voice mail options on the phone when I need a live voice.
On a VGA monitor, after the browser headers and the frames are displayed
it leaves enough space for about half a paragraph of the page I want to
see, and a horizontal scroll bar to boot. I do have a large monitor, but
being a webmaster myself I'm still sensitive to the folks who don't.
When I finally get there (and find a page that wants to be wider then my
1280 screen), and finally figure out that brake lights fall under
'Lighting', it's not clear which fuse is used for the brake light circuit,
so also not much clue how that can tie in to an ignition failure. Also
appearantly 'Electrics" doesn't include ignition, but 'Schematics' does. I
will take a wild guess and ASS-U-ME that the brake light circuit is tapped
off the same fuse as the ignition circuit, but still can't tell what else
may also be attached to the same fuse. It also doesn't tell me how many
harness connectors are involved or where to find them.
All of this only brings me back to my original guess, either a short to
ground between the brake switch and the rear lamp housings, or a very bad
connection on the fuse which won't pass enough current to power everything
at once.
