Tom,
You'll have to fit the front bearer plate from the original 1972 engine (or
any 56 to 74-1/2 BMC B-series motor) onto the '78 motor as the front mounts
are different. Some grinding on the block is also needed to enable the left
front mount bracket to be attached. Other than that, there's the obvious
need to use the early dual exhaust and dual carbs in place of the 78's
single setup, and your speedo will need to be recalibrated.
