Good morning everyone. Gina sent me this email asking if any of our members
would be interested in buying her MGB. We're in Florida. Although it's not
to far fetched for us to travel to the west coast to purchase an MG, it's
more likely that someone on the west coast would be more likely to check it
out. Anyway, the text of Gina's message follows. If anyone is interested,
please contact Gina.

-----------------
My name is Gina August. The [MGB] is in Los Angeles County, California.
There is no set price on the car - the best offer will take it. I have not
put any ads in the papers, only contacting people who really like this type
of car. I
was driving the car about a hundred miles a year until about two or three
years ago when a radiator hose either broke off or just fell off and I just
parked it. I don't have any time to spend with this car any more. I have two
other cars and work 60 to 90 hours a week most of the time. My daughter
didn't want me to sell the car because she thinks of it as a member of the
family so a couple of months ago I just gave it to her, but she doesn't know
what to do with it so we've decided to go ahead and sell it anyway. It's all
original and in pretty good condition. It is time for the convertible top to
be replaced and the carpet also and someone stole the ra! ! dio out of it
several years back. The body is straight also, although it has had work done
to it. In Feb. of '84 it was hit in the front so I had to have the front
bumper, hood, radiator, and passenger side finder replaced. The replacement
bumper is off of a regular MGB and not like the one that came with the car.
The car was repainted at the same time but without the stripe on the side.
It however is still black with tan interior. If any of your members are
interested I can be reached Monday through Friday on my cell phone since I
am on the road a lot. The number is (818) 968-8949.
